It all started when…

I received an email invitation to contribute a story or blog post about leading people living with dementia in worship for a book project. Even though I made my contributions, I kept thinking all along that I would end up on the editor’s floor. But now I am holding the finished product, finding my story tucked in amongst others who have inspired and mentored me. Jeremiah 29:11 says ‘ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you future and a hope.’(ESV). As a caregiver for my mother and aunt, I held on to the promise that He would use our story to help others. May this volume of wisdom reach those who have ears to hear and eyes to see. #SoulsShineForth
